Shipping Policy

Every piece is made just for you—meaning it doesn’t exist until you order it!

(this excludes some items in shop)

  • Production time: 2–4 weeks (may vary during busy seasons, holidays, or unexpected delays or order quantity).

  • Shipping time: 3–5 business days domestically (South Africa) once dispatched.

  • Shipping internationally: Only upon request and invoice based fro now. Shipping depend entirely on the order details

I'm a one woman workshop, not a warehouse! While I work as quickly as we can, handmade items require time and care. Thank you for understanding!

Shipping Delays & Liability:

Shipping times at checkout are estimates only—delays can happen due to postal services.

We’re not responsible for lost, stolen, or misdelivered packages (including incorrect addresses or postal errors).

Shipping insurance is included via PUDO.

If your package arrives damaged, please submit full photo/video evidence within 48 hours of delivery to initiate the claims process with our shipping insurer.

Custom Commission and Made to Order Terms & Conditions Agreement


1. Deposit & Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit(agreed upon quotation) or full payment is required to begin work. This depends entirely on the item.

  • The remaining balance + shipping costs must be paid within 48 hours of final approval (via photo/video confirmation).

  • Deposit refunds are only issued if the final item is not approved before shipping.

2. Approval Process

  • You’ll receive photos/videos of the completed item for approval before shipping.

  • Minor adjustments can be requested at this stage (major changes may incur additional fees).

3. Shipping

  • Shipping costs and delivery timelines depend on your location (tracking provided).

  • Once dispatched, the item becomes the customer’s responsibility.

4. Refunds & Returns

  • No returns/exchanges for custom-made items (unless damaged in transit—proof required within 48 hours of delivery).

  • Deposits are only refundable if I cannot fulfil the order as agreed.

  • Accurate measurements must be provided—Redcap Renaissance is not liable for fit issues due to incorrect measurements or details shared

5. Timeline

  • Typical completion: 2–4 weeks after fabric/materials confirmation.

  • Delays (e.g., material shortages) will be communicated promptly.

  • I’ll provide regular updates throughout the process and welcome your feedback or questions at any stage.

6. Responsibilities

  • Accurate measurements must be provided—I’m not liable for fit issues due to incorrect specifications or measurements

  • Colour variations may occur due to screen/monitor differences.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and selected shipping method.

Delivery

We ship to the address/ pudo point provided at checkout. Please ensure your address is correct before completing your order. We are not responsible for packages delivered to incorrect addresses due to customer error.

P.O. Boxes

We can ship to P.O. Boxes using standard shipping only. Express and overnight shipping require a physical address.

Digital Products

Instant Delivery

Digital products are delivered instantly via email after your purchase is confirmed. You will receive a download link or access instructions within minutes.

Download Access

Download links typically remain active for 30 days and allow multiple downloads. Please save your files to a secure location.

Delivery Issues

If you do not receive your digital product within 15 minutes:

  1. Check your spam/junk folder

  2. Verify the email address used for purchase

Custom corset order Bookings and Services

How do I order a custom corset?

Get ready to chat! The process is super collaborative and we'll talk a lot to make sure I bring your dream corset to life.

  • Step 1: The Idea: Send me your inspiration, anything from pictures to a detailed description! 
    To make this step easier Fill out this form

  • Step 2: The Plan: I'll create a design or idea board and give you a price estimate based on all the lovely details.

  • Step 3: Let's Do This! Once you approve the design and price, a 50% deposit secures your spot in my queue and lets me buy all your beautiful materials.

  • Step 4: I Get to Work: I'll send you updates and might ask you questions. I can make some changes to the corset if needed (Small tweaks are fine, but big changes might affect the price).

  • Step 5: It's Ready! I'll show you your finished corset with photos and a video. After you give it a thumbs-up, just pay the final balance and I'll ship it out to you!

In addition to corsets, I love creating skirts, shirts, and other custom clothing.
